You’ve heard the news, there is a new book on Donald Trumps crazy Oval Office: Fear by Bob Woodward

Fear by Bob Woodward – Who is he?

Bob Woodward is famous for his work on the Watergate affair which ultimately lead to the impeachment procedure of Nixon. That’s why he is a highly credible source. Prior to release of the book the publisher already released some teasers of the content. For instance they said that Trump is emotional and erratic while consultants around him try to avoid the worst.

Staff is giving up

Now that the book is on sale some more details are known. There are now more examples surfacing his bad character. Already in 2016 when Giuliani supported him during the locker room affair he humiliated him during a flight. Trump supposedly called him a baby and that he is weak. Trumps typical childish use of language.

In another section in Fear by Bob Woodward he states that his former consultant Cohn gave up on Trump. Cohn supposedly said that he can not take it anymore and that everything is crazy. Further he mentioned hat Trump would not listen and change topics within minutes if he feels like it. Thus, he concludes, it doesn’t make any sense to prepare meetings with Trump.

Can it be worse?

Usually Trump’s staff prepares a night book collecting numbers and facts for the day ahead which he rarely even touches. Further Cohn tried to explain trade to Trump but he just would not care and refuse facts.

If that isn’t already enough Trump nearly caused a war with North Korea. When Trump was angry over Kim’s nuclear test he nearly called families of US troops home via twitter. A gesture that North Korea could have judged as the preparation of a war. This in turn could have lead them to launching a first strike on South Korea. Luckily, though, his staff convinced Trump to not tweet the message.

Of course he also mentions Trump’s relationship to Melania in the book. But maybe I just leave this part for you own eyes to read.
